Bringing a new mattress home
Yes, absolutely. It is ideal to air the mattress once it is first set up so that any ‘new mattress smell’ has a chance to dissipate. Rest assured, this is completely normal and doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the mattress or that it contains harmful chemicals. All our materials are tested and meet strict industry safety standards. Even though the smell might take a short while to fade, you can still sleep on the mattress right away, it’s perfectly safe.
